“Dr Clare Gilsenan was awarded her PhD for work conducted in Sensory Science at Technological University Dublin (TUD) in 2011.
She has published several papers in the area of sensory analysis and has acted in a consultancy capacity on behalf of TUD and Galway Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) for an external clients on sensory research projects.
Dr Gilsenan is currently program chair of the Higher Certificate in Culinary Arts-Professional Chef program at at Galway International Hotel School (GIHS) and lectures in the field of Culinary Arts and Sensory Analysis. She previously lectured in TUD and St Angela’s College, Sligo, A College of NUI Galway”.
