Didier Massot

It all started in 1980 when I wanted to become a ski instructor! the need for financial independence and the parents’ butchers we do the rest!

After years of training in butchery and charcuterie, I took over the family business in 2003 and held the title “One of the Best Workers of France”.

I set up the first online meat sales website in 2008.
(Rewarded with a “Mercury Gold E-commerce” in 2011)

I was ranked among the 10 best butcher shops in France in 2012 at “GAULT & MILLAU”. I sold the company in 2012 and passed on my know-how at a high school until 2014.

I was a consultant and Sourcer 2014 to 2017 and have been a member of the Meat Academy since 2016.

In 2016 I created “Team France Boucherie” and won the world Butcher Challenge in Australia. (World Team Championship)

On July 24, 2018, I will begin a new challenge with the opening of a butchery in the temple of French gastronomy: Les Halles Paul Bocuse in LYON.
