Gertjan Kiers

Gertjan Kiers has been a butcher for more than 30 years and is the leading butcher at the large catering butchers, Fontijn in Amsterdam. Last year he wrote his first book ‘de Vleesbijbel’ (The Meatbible) and it has already sold 15,000 copies. He currently has an education programme for chefs and butchers and he will be joining Holland TV’s ‘Time for Max’. Kiers also has his own BBQ team where he travels the world and organises the event ‘The Butchers Heaven’ in Amsterdam.
