Joe Burke is Senior Manager for Meat and Livestock in Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board. Within Bord Bia, he is responsible for the promotion of the Irish meat sector: working with key stakeholders, visiting overseas markets and meeting new customers. Bord Bia also operates Quality Assurance and Sustainability programmes across the Irish food industry. Joe previously worked in in management within the meat processing industry, and is involved in his family’s beef farm.
